San Ramon is where we have lived and raised our family over the last 30 years. Having put 3 kids through the schools, sports and recreation programs and been actively involved in the local schools, politics and charities, Carol Sawdey is THE go-to source for living in the area! If you are searching for San Ramon Homes for Sale, look no further. You have found your friend in the business who will guide you from start to beyond the finish!
Blending identities as a bedroom community and major employment center, San Ramon’s impressive growth over the past decade was the result of a single decision. When developers decided to transform 580 acres of orchards into Bishop Ranch Business Park in the 1980s, the complexion of the community changed. Today, over 16,500 people are employed at the park, serving as the regional headquarters for giants like Pacific Bell, Chevron, AT&T, ROLM, and IBM. Domestic and international companies agree that San Ramon has the right combination of “room to grow” and an excellent innovative environment. The dizzying pace of prime development has amazed long-time residents who still remember the days of driving to Danville for groceries. The construction of Interstate 680 further opened the area to waves of new subdivisions and commercial growth. Among its impressive amenities, San Ramon now claims several shopping centers, a hospital, library, community center and senior center, a golf course, country club, swimming pool and numerous parks. No wonder looking at San Ramon homes for sale is so popular!
Fortunately, the transition from a residential and agricultural village into a bustling business center has been admirably planned and controlled to maintain a quality image. Parks, fountains, waterfalls, and acres of rolling lawns surround modern office buildings and industrial parks to create a truly beautiful living environment. East Bay regional recreational amenities are superb, providing thousands of acres of prime wilderness, trails, and nature preserves.

Looking for insider tips on the best restaurants and bars in San Ramon? Here are some of our favorite places over the years… For Italian we love Gianni’s Italian Bistro. The Tartufo Limoncello dessert is to die for! For Pizza there is no better deep dish in the Bay Area than at Zachary’s. Going out to lunch? Primivera is very nice, more casual is the fun and farmhouse inspired Fat Maddie’s Grille. Of course it’s hard to top the local In N Out Burger. And if you want something different, Clementine’s is where the Bayou meets the Bay.
Our favorite San Ramon bar is probably Firehouse 37. Always fun there and the food is pretty good too. For beer there is The Hopyard, a local institution for beer and pub food. And our local craft brewery is Schubros – get your growler on!

Because we are ahead of the curve in terms of marketing San Ramon homes for sale, we’ll get your home seen by more potential buyers than anyone else. Here’s a dirty little secret – because the market is so hot some realtors get away with just putting a sign in the ground and the house on the MLS and it will sell. To us, that just won’t cut it.
Our #1 goal is to put a SOLD sign on your house and as much MONEY in your pocket as possible and we want to make sure you feel the home selling process was seamless, low stress and pain free. We market the heck out of the homes we sell! How many San Ramon realtors can say they know how to market your house for sale on Instagram? Well, we can.
In addition to marketing, probably the most important skill your realtor can have is negotiation skill. Every sale has multiple negotiations, with the seller, the buyer’s agent, the inspector, the appraiser, the buyer’s agent again… A great realtor will have a negotiating strategy – a proven process to get the best terms and money for their client. There are very few realtors who are certified in negotiation. We are.
